About
Di Tɛm ɛn Tɔri is a living archive of Sierra Leone's history: stories, places, voices and old photographs, gathered before they are lost.
Much of Sierra Leone's history lives in elders' memories, in family photo boxes, and in archives far from home. Every year, some of it is lost.
Di Tɛm ɛn Tɔri gathers it in one place, free for anyone to read, in English and Krio: stories, places on the map, voices, old photographs, music, and how people lived day to day.
It is told by Sierra Leoneans, for Sierra Leoneans at home and around the world.
A project by Daverose Tholley, with everyone who shares their stories.
An independent community history project, run by its founder. Articles are drafts, and nothing here is professional or legal advice.
